This cake was put together with just a few days before my son’s 11th birthday party (Batman-themed, of course). I made a frozen buttercream transfer on wax paper for the Batman emblem in the center of the cake with white, yellow, and black buttercream on the cake, itself, and adorned with tiny, black gumpaste bats. For being almost thrown together at the last minute, I was surprisingly happy with how this turned out. And yay for success at my first frozen buttercream transfer!
