So, this is the 2nd cake for the tasting (see basket weave cake)…I saw this “Wedding” card by Papyrus and thought…that would be a great topper for a cake…
So, I traced it on the gum paste…couldn’t really see my “trace”…so had to “wing-it” anyway…I added the black/silver sugar pearls…b/c I couldn’t the the pearl white/silver dust to show up as “dots”…that’s what makes the design so delicate…
Roses are just the ruffle cutter from Wilton Kit 3…and just did a swirl for the buttercream frosting…just let the turntable spin as I held the spatula against it…
Now…remember I am a beginner…and trying to figure out how to get a popsicle with a candy melt on that back of this (the dress isn’t flat b/c of the sugar pearls)…so I decided…it’s a small cake…put it in the front…
