This cake was made for a former boss of my husband’s for his retirement after 23 years in the US Air Force. Each Air Force logo was hand cut and hand painted. Each rank symbol, and other decorations were molded using actual uniform pins provided by the family. Top tier was carved to look like one of the uniform hats, complete with molded eagle, and hand piped lightning bolts and clouds, to match the hat authorized for his use.
