This was vanilla cake filled with vanilla SMBC and raspberry curd. The Thomas topper caused me some angst as it took me a good hour to figure out how to actually go about making it! Once I had the base done the rest followed fairly quickly. The only real dilemma was the weight of the thing as it was entirely made from gum paste – I was afraid it was going to collapse the delicate cake! All was well though. Thanks for looking :)
