I made this cake for a sweet little girl turning two. I was inspired by the Western Quinceanera cake done by Hot Mama’s Cakes. I loved the ruffles on her cake, but I didn’t realize how much work they were to do! I was having trouble with my fondant being too soft, so mine didn’t come out as fluffy as hers.

Toni this is awesome!! This little lady knows what she wants for someone so young. So much work!! I love all the little details like the rope number 2 and even the ribbon is perfect!! It must weigh a ton too, the ruffles are a lot of fondant weight. Fantastic job. Well done xxxxxx

This all works so well! Love the fridge and the pretty lace edged fuffles. Fab cake! Did you twist that rope by hand or can you get a mould for this? I can never get my rope than fine as it breaks. X
