The bride wanted an outdoorsy cake since they were getting married in the woods. She also wanted multi-shaped tiers. The cake is DDCSC and WASC. The week end prior to ordering the cake, they had gone to the park and carved their names in a tree, so I suggested the tree stump topper. She loved that idea.

The groom wanted the cake to be angel food cake, camoflauge, with a deer and fish on the wedding cake. She promised that she would order that, but when the time came, she didn’t want that at all. I suggested a groom’s cake and she was thrilled. The groom’s cake is everything he asked for and he was so surprised and happy to see it sitting next to the wedding cake. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make angel food cake without an angel food cake pan. I wouldn’t suggest it as a stacked cake, not sturdy enough. TYFL
