my sons first birthday cake
I always knew I was going to be making my sons first cake, and o enjoyed every minute of it! All my love went into it!
There were over 30 people coming, so I knew it had to be big enough to satisfy everyone. This was a vanilla syrup sponge cake and used my signature white chocolate buttercream and raspberry jam to sandwich it together. Because of the vanilla syrup the sponge stayed beautifully moist, meaning I could prepare this a few days inadvance. This wasn’t around long enough for even me to get a taste!
