These monkey themed cupcakes were made for a little boys 1st birthday. I made 24 cupcakes.. Half of them chocolate filled with cookies and cream butter cream and the other half vanilla and filled with a caramel filling and all of them topped with a vanilla Swiss meringue butter cream. I made monkey themed fondant toppers out of a marshmallow fondant that I make. I did monkey faces, bananas, trees, and number 1’s. I also made a matching smash cake which was vanilla cake filled with vanilla Swiss meringue butter cream and decorated with a matching fondant monkey.
