This cake was so much fun to make! It was based off the ever so popular.. The Lego Movie.. I made this for my son who was turning 8 and loves Legos more than anything. I made all of the characters on the cake from gum paste . The cake itself was covered in marshmallow fondant that I make and the additional details like the name plate and the buildings were also made from gum paste which worked great since I made this in the hot and humid month of August. My son had also requested each character say something so I added the talking bubbles lol.
