I just wanted to show you all my wedding entry to cake "international Birmingham 2014, wedding category.

I tend to name my cakes after the brides I’m privileged to bake for. On this occasion I had no bride. So I named her “Evie” after my kitten. :)

I received a merit for this cake. Although at first I was hugely disappointed as I put my heart soul and a few tears into this cake! I am trying to turn this into a positive.

I have posted this on my page and I’ve had such an over welcoming response of support and outrage about how low I placed!
Knowing I have such great support has helped me so much. The cake world is an amazing place. I’ve been met with nothing but support. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such talented people, all saying the most heart warming things.
