This ballerina was hand painted on wafer paper using the painting technique of mixing powdered food color with shortening created by Amber Adamson at Top Tier Cakes for All Occasions. The frame for the painting is made from a Wilton silicon mold. The design is a copy of a painting by Leonid Afremov. The poppy is made of gum paste and a tutorial for it is available here in Cakes Decor as well as in my webpage, www.jennyshautecakes.com
This cake was made as part of a collaboration from Top Tier Cakes for All Occasions using Amber’s ACP painting technique.
