This cake was created for “Aussies Take the Cake”. It is a collaboration of decorators all across Australia, who have come together to celebrate Australia Day. Each of us choose a theme and dedicated the cake to this wonderful country we live in. I chose the theme of Billy Tin.

I first used billy tin when I came here as an overseas student long long time ago, maybe more than 25 years ago, I remember I was camping with some friends and we used this billy tin to make our instant noodle. What a fond memory!
