UFC Title belt birthday cake

I made this cake for my little boys 6th birthday……… he is a future MMA champ!!
I don’t normally enjoy doing boys cakes because they tend to require less detail work which is what i enjoy but this one allowed me to play with some royal icing and do a bit of “pretty work” plus the fact that it was for my youngest baby and i couldnt wait to see his face (he wasnt allowed in the kitchen for 2 days, lol).

Hi!! your cake looks amazing! now I’d like to make something like this for my husband’s birthday… it is a huge challenge lol… so could I ask you how you made the top of the cake, I mean the “shield” Is it a mold? I really appreciate if you can help me. thank you and ones again I loveeee you cake.
