British Themed Birthday Cake

For my little Great nephew Benjamin who happened to be born in the UK. I did this just before his first birthday because they have been transferred to Kansas and won’t be here for his actual birthday. But the funny thing is I found a photo of a Big Ben clock showing almost one. Perfect for little Ben! The drummer on top is gumpaste, the flag is fondant.

Thank you so much Julie. On this cake baby Ben was born in the UK but is a U.S. citizen so I had to add the American flag ribbon to the board. And I made a really dumb mistake and forgot the four red stripes for the Union Jack flag, when I realized it I dashed back in the kitchen and added them.
