I made this cake a few weeks ago for a country wedding, the reception was held at the family’s farm and used the local heather and foliage for the colour theme. I used examples of the bride and groom’s family’s jewellery to create the cascade design, which included some of my own bits and bobs I have built up over the years. It even included the brides earrings that she wore on the day and the grooms late grandfather’s RAF pin badge.
