This cake was made for a couple in Miami, FL whose deep roots in their Cuban/Spanish heritage led them to celebrate their nuptials in the picturesque location of Cuba Ocho Art & Research Center in Little Havana, Miami. The charming local filled with one of a kind paintings and works of art by Cuban and Spanish artists inspired the hand painted sugar azulejo tiles and hand molded and antiqued sugar lace. The monogram and double barrel top was reminiscent of the couple’s invitation and monogram.
