This was a complete celebration cake for me! A forced cake hiatus lasting eight l-o-n-g emotional months after a crazy accident, I found myself terrified and delighted all at once when I finally found my hands in cake, ganache and fondant once again. My husband is my hero with the powertools and endlessly and patiently helped me fail with several different prototypes until we got it just right. This chocolate mud cake travelled to and from the venue where it was exhibited without fail and took up the length of the bar! The structure is super sound and looks a treat.
