This is a 6in yellow cake that I made for one of my sons bday parties. I was dieing to try the petal effect so this is my first time doing it. It is a very forgiving technique and I like it a lot. I wasn’t to worried about crumbs and getting it completely perfect, this was just a practice cake. So since I did this technique, which isn’t really my son, I threw in a gum paste zombie head complete with brains exposed! LOL!! Icing is SMBC! Also my first time making and using it, was not expecting it to be so light and fluffy. I LOVE it!!! Thanks for letting me ramble!! And TFL!
