A nine inch, four layer Victoria Sponge filled with clotted cream, sliced strawberries and strawberry puree.
My customer didn’t want a fondant covered and decorated birthday cake, but I wanted to make something just a bit special, hence the strawberries, flowers and covered board. I was thrilled with the end result.
