These Stiletto Cupcakes were created for a dear friend of mine that is celebrating her 40th birthday. I offered three flavors; vanilla and chocolate topped with vanilla butter cream and red velvet topped with cream cheese icing.
Shoe sole is made using Pepperidge Farm Milano Melts in Boston Cream flavor since and the heels are made out of Pepperidge Farm Pirouette in French Vanilla flavor. They look like a “cork” heel to me without the stripes that the chocolate centered pirouette cookies tend to have. I used candy melts to secure the heel to the sole of shoe. I used a offset spatula to carve a slot into the cupcake to insert the Milano Melts cookie. I piped on the icing before inserting the sole into the cupcake, and I attached the heel to the sole and let them dry before adding the sole and heel to the cake.
