I was super excited when I got this design as a birthday order. This cake was ordered by a new friend who wanted to get a designer cake made for her sister-in-law. That’s so sweet. She wanted the cake to have a feminine touch hence suggested a Ladybird theme. I had soo much fun making it and hand painting those little ladybirds.

the field mouse is gone to her nest.
the daisies have shut up their sleepy red eyes,
and the birds and the bees are at rest.

the fairy bells tinkle afar.
make haste or they’ll catch you and harness you fast,
with a cobweb to Oberon’s star.
