I’ve done a number of Christening cakes in the past year but this was the first. Based on the Lindy Smith Baby in Blanket cake with patchwork pastel surround. The cake itself was chocolate fudge with fudgy chocolate buttercream filling and white chocolate ganache. Then covered with white fondant before decorating with the fondant patchwork.
