This was a very quick cake made much in a frenzy. We had this friend’s new born baby’s naming ceremony. The mommy of the baby loves designer cakes and the daddy is such a sweetheart friend of ours that this cake had to be special.

Inspired by a source from the internet, the color theme was blue, the baby being a boy. On the front of the cake, there was this clothes line that had items hanging in a rather cute fashion. A teddy bear, a pair of cute socks, a bib and also a cute birdie. The clothes line had these tiny clothes pin attached to each item. On the top of the cake stood a pair of baby shoes. They were so so cute that I was ecstatic while making them. Wish real shoes were that easy to make. I would have made an entire collection for my little nephew. :-)

These shoes had blue lace attached to it as shoe laces. Placed lots of small white balls on the surface of the cake which were made by husband dear and mom to help me out last minute. And ta daa….The cake was done. This was one cake, I didn’t feel like giving. It was too cute to give away.
