Winter Storm: Doll Cake

One of the 6 doll cake designs exclusively done for Cake Masters Magazine . As I was doing research for design inspiration, I notice that fashion follows the four seasons of the year. So i decided to make 4 doll cakes based on the 4 seasons. Today we start with winter. A white dress, done with fondant, inspired by the winds of a winter storm.

beautiful take on an cake that seems to always be done the same way… you made it ur own never seen it done like this! did you do the under cake and her top. then start layering in the middle?

The whole cake is behind the doll in its skirt. I just move the doll to the front to show her legs and style and dress to be modern current fashion.
