This was my entry for the Dublin Sugarcraft competition back in March. The theme was “tantrums and tiaras” in the sugarpaste section. I didn’t want to do something pretty, pink or sparkly as that’s just not me, so this is what I came up with. I was absolutely delighted to be awarded gold and best in class for this as it was my first ever competition and I really didn’t expect to place at all. I loved making this cake as I had complete freedom which is rare when making cakes for other people. Anyway thanks for looking.
