“God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers”.True in every sense !!

My mom has a beautiful garden back home and I know how much she loves spending time with her plants or I should say her “babies”. Its her joy and pride! I don’t know how she does it, but it just keeps getting prettier every year :-)
In the recent years I have noticed her love for orchids and I must say, she has quite the collection!! So deciding what cake to make for her was an easy decision…..not so much in mimicking Nature’s "Words can’t explain’ beautiful creation!!

The deep purple spotted Phalaenopsis orchid….wasn’t easy to recreate, but had to give it a shot, because Mom’s deserve only the best ! The extra hours or I should say the extra days it took to complete was totally worth it.

Everything in the cake is edible except the support stick and the wire branches. The pot is complete cake.

We love you so much Mama!! Thank you for all the sacrifices you’ve made and for loving us unconditionally!
