I made this cake for my daughter’s 8th birthday! She’s a huge fan and we love reading the books together so she really wanted a book cake. Because I’m crazy I figured why not make all 7 lol! I worked on this cake almost every day for 3 weeks while my kids were at school and still didn’t finish it until the morning of her party. The books were made all out of cake to be life sized. I hand painted the cover and the sides. The characters are hand sculpted and painted as well. Everyone at the party commented that they couldn’t believe how tiny the characters were so I took a photo of Ginny in my hand so you could see the size. They measured around 3 inches.
