This was a birthday cake made for my Great Aunt who is turning 94! She absolutely LOVES playing cards (Pepper is her favorite game), so I was excited to try my hand at some edible images and my very first ‘draping’ on a cake. That turned out to be more difficult that I thought! Inside is french vanilla sponge cake with a vanilla bean custard filling and fresh strawberries.
