Chocolate Madeira with apricot jam & chocolate buttercream filling. This cake was for my nephew who loves his beer & is rather partial to this particular brand, from his home town of Lewes, East Sussex. It’s covered in fondant which I’ve hand painted to achieve the “bitter” colour.
