My friend had seen a photo of a similar cake (unfortunately I don’t know who’s cake it was to credit them), but we made a few tweeks to come up with her own version of pink & girly for her daughter’s Christening. They were given a rose plant when Scarlett was born, which had ‘inverted’ petals & that is the flower on top – it was trickier than I thought it would be to make!!
