I never had an opportunity to make “Era” cake, this was my first and so much fun! The iconic colors and elements of 50’s made the design very recognizable. I wanted to use textures and atmosphere of the time: pink poodle skirt, blue Chevy Bel Air color and accents, Dinner sign spells birthday girl’s name and icecream sodapop with Sweet 16 cherry! Oh, dont forget the classic checkerboard floor! Ta-da! Happy Sweet 16 Kaleigh!
