This I did for my Nephew’s 16th Birthday. He plays a lot of football (soccer) and in his spare time acts as a referee for other matches. He has a new pair of boots which are his pride and joy. My Sister sent me many pics of the boots so that I could re-create them in cake. I opted to have one boot on top of the box, which is sitting on my nephew’s football shirt. I was at one point going to have 2 boots but they were so difficult to get just right I booted out that Idea (pardon my bad joke) and baked another cake to decorate as the shoe box. Smiles all round when I presented it to him!
