This is my very first wedding cake and the bride (my friend) decided to have a brightly coloured wedding. Her theme is reflected in the cake.

It is 5 tiers – bottom is 12" up to 4" at the top. Originally i had suggested sugar paste pom poms however after viewing Stevie Auble’s amazing craftsy class i convinced my friend to let me try doing something a bit different with wafer paper :-) I’m so glad i did. Not only is it super quick to do but the effect is quite stunning. Hope you like it.
