Last Mission Space Shuttle

Last Mission Space Shuttle
Last Mission Space Shuttle

I was never more honored than to be able to create and present this Space Shuttle cake to the wonderful people at NASA. The bottom cake is the actual patch of the last shuttle mission. The top cake (I was schooled by the engineers…LOL!) was the orbiter and completely edible. We were supposed to present it to the astronauts once they landed at Ellington Field, but at the last minute plans were changed and we were able to present it to the people who designed it. What a humbling experience…..One I will never forget as I grew up in the area and have visited this place MANY times. Thanks everyone who has taken us to the point we are today with space exploration. This program will truly be missed but never forgotten. On to bigger and better projects! Congrats…NASA and to all the people who have dedicated their lives to it. I am sure I can speak for most people in this world when I say we appreciate your dedication, sacrifices, and overwelming generosity to the program.
