So this client asked me to do a placenta cake. I was like… well, I’m sure it is just symbolic, but she wanted a real looking placenta cake with the umbilical cord in a heart shape. After that she told me her sister was a biologist and her thesis was about a placenta pathology. I really had fun doing this because the grosser it looked, the better, right? Though I’m not sure who would like to eat it haha.
