This cake was done for a returning customer. It was made to match the baby shower invites. She had sent me a picture of another “argyle” style cake, and this is what we came up with. I must say that piping the “dashes” was one of the hardest, more nerve racking things I’ve done in a while! The mustache topper was hand formed and solid gumpaste…it weighed a ton! All the lettering was done in gumpaste.
