Both of these cakes were sent to Afghanistan, where my brother was serving last year. One is his birthday cake, the other is his christmas cake. They were fruit cake, wrapped up well and posted for free and without question – thank you, BFPO!

Lord Kitchener is handpainted with a blackadder quote. Malcolm Tucker is also handpainted, and with the cleanest Thick of It cake-related quote that I could manage.
