Dr. Seuss Themed Baby Shower Cake

Done for one of my best friend’s baby shower. The sex of the baby is still a surprise – so it was a perfect theme for a gender neutral shower theme. I LOVED how this cake came out! The bottom tier was a 10" confetti WASC and the top tier was an 8" chocolate fudge. I’ve never seen a Dr. Seuss “baby rump”, so I thought I would try my hand at it – the rump is all fondant. The cake is buttercream iced with fondant onesie, tree and fish accents. TFL!!

aw that’s cute! :) I have a Dr Seuss baby shower next month and ur right, I don’t think I saw ANY “rump” cakes :)

Thanks so much! I was also organizing the shower – so I literally had 45 minutes to ice it and do all of the details for the cake, so it didn’t come out as perfect as I would have liked, but the mom to be loved it!
