I designed and decorated this cake from 2 – 4am one morning during a very busy and stressful week. I had ‘accidentally’ committed to making 7 cakes in a week (I usually try not to do that many in a month!) One of lovely friends had just had a birthday and I really wanted to surprise her. My brief was frangipanis and the colour purple….so here’s what my poor brain came up with. I was quite relieved when I got up the next morning that I hadn’t dreamt that I’d made her a cake and that it didn’t suck haha! Thanks for looking :)
