Gown is 3 layers of 8 in round white cake, carved into gown with buttercream filling, I covered her bodice & sleeves with fondant/gumpaste mixture to set. Then cut out a hole in the top center of cake & wrapped Barbie’s legs/hips with saran wrap & inserted into cake. I covered her gown in layers of fondant ruffles, finishing the gown with leaves & a ribbon, and 3 fondant godmothers 1 1/2 in high.
