Mary wanted a suprise birthday cake for her brother (along with a suprise birthday party, you know the one that everyone is hiding behind the couch and screams ‘SURPRISEEEE!!’ when the birthday man comes in, praying to avoid any awkwardness whatsoever!). Alex loves Super Mario, so a theme was set. Who cares if Alex is 36 and still plays with it? :)
