My daughter has had a fabulous year at school. This was her first full year of school and she won an award for Effort, Achievement and Citizenship which we were so super proud of. I wanted to say thank you to her teacher because she is a wonderful teacher and we believe that Jorja flourished under her tutelage. I had intended to make gingerbread cookies that my daughter could share with her teacher and fellow students but I had ‘issues’ with the cookie dough and had a fruit cake that I decided to use instead. So a late night until 1 am, armed with my copy of ‘la pate a chocolat’ by Nadia from Chokolate, for her penguins, I decorated this little igloo complete with christmas lights and their own plug on the top of the igloo.
Mrs Hermansson loved her cake and I was so thrilled to be able to give her such a small token of our appreciation for her part in shaping our little girl’s future.
