Made this teal ruffle cake for fun! Ended up as a top saved cake on cake central ;) It was also my first gum paste flower.

Beautiful cake!!! How did u get the ruffles to stay on the cake and not slide or fall off? Did u use med. bc icing? Or another type of icing?

Was the cake crumb coated & chilled b4 u added the ruffles? Was the icing a med. Consiatency?
