Hi Donna,

I love the Markers! However, can you explain a bit more thoroughly how you get the food color in? In your photo it looks as if you are wicking it up from the bottom of the cup? Do you soak the sponge with vodka? I’m confused :( Thanks!

Hi Lauren,

I actually rinse the tube and the tip parts with vodka just to be on the safe side. Then I just add food color in a container and dip the tube in the food color and the material in the tube absorbs the food color instantly (like a sponge). You could add more food color if it doesn’t reach the top. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks. :)

I bought these today and am excited to make them. Do you use liquid colors, or gel colors mixed with vodka? Thank you so much for sharing this!
