As a child my mother did cake decorating and one day she passed on all her cutters and tools to me. There they sat in a box waiting for me. As my children grew older and I had more time on my hands, I started playing with fondant and the cutters and teaching myself from books and online tutorials. Friends saw the cakes I was making and asked me to make some for them and from there, my business has slowly started to grow. I still enjoy sitting in front of the TV with all my cutters and fondant around me, now I just get paid for having fun.
