re: Shortening Question

Like you, I purchased Sweetex in a 50 pound box, divided it into five pound blocks, double bagged and put it in the freezer. I am down to my last five pound block, so I guess I will be going back to Crisco, like in the good old days, before I ever heard of Sweetex. Like June, I rarely use shortening in my frosting, preferring to use butter. I do use shortening if high temps and humidity require it.
