I was a bookkeeper but laid off over and over again here in Southern California.. I went the way of sugar flowers starting to teach and sell and by chance working with a friend with a cake business that is picking up or her… who knew how things turn around but since being out of the so called “Corp World” I hope I never have to go back.. it is still a struggle but I am extremely happy.. wish I knew about sugar flowers years ago… I still do some bookkeeping for my friend I work for.. but, i don’t miss it at all..

most people I have met that changed careers are either lawyers or in accounting… hmmm!!!
