Don’t be nervous… I have covered many cakes with the new Wilton fondant and haven’t had any trouble so far. I find that when I’m apprehensive about doing something, I usually have trouble getting it done… so don’t even think about it… This new fondant is a little too soft for flowers, but even with the old recipe, I always added Tylose powder or mixed it with gumpaste to ensure the flowers were strong enough.
