For the past 9 years I have been a Wilton Instructor at Michael's. I have a home based cake buisness, as well. Most of the cakes that I make are carved (shaped) and covered in fondant. I adore making gum paste flowers with roses as my speciality. Making gum paste flowers acts as a sort of Zen-like haven when stress gets to be too much!
Since I am lactos intolerant, most of my cakes are dairy free. Since Jan. of this year (2013) I have had to stop wheat, as well. I can now make cakes that are dairy free, wheat free, egg free (some), and alchol free. This has been such a year of change!
I have 2 beautiful daughters (a great son-in-law) and a beautiful granddaughter. My partner and I have been together 4 years now.
