As a Certified Baker and experienced Cake Decorator, I have been trained and have substantial professional experience creating designs on cakes, pastries, and a variety of other baked goods. I have worked in a privately owned bakery as well as a national grocery store chain bakery, and I am an active participant in Icing Smiles, Inc. and the International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES). In addition I donate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies to organizations like, Icing Smiles, Apraxia of Speech, 22Q at the Zoo, and Cookies for iPads-Giving Children with Autism a Voice. I am constantly interacting and seeking out new and challenging training opportunities in the art and techniques of professional cake decoration to improve my skills and to keep abreast of current trends in the industry. My objective is to deliver exquisitely designed cakes and intricately decorated cupcakes to my customers.
My skill set includes:
Checking production schedule to fulfill daily requirements. Retrieve stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
Follow Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment. Satisfied requirements for quality assurance, food safety certification and all safety training as required.
Process and decorate all cakes, cupcakes, and cookies
